Hello, I have a OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0024nl with a Dorado OC motherboard.
There are two (2) disks installed in the factory: the one with the OS is a SSD (512mb), the second one a standard/mechanical hard drive (2TB)
i would like to add a third Hard disk and specifically a SSD in order to move the most demanding games from the hard drive to a faster SSD but keeping free the SSD with the OS. I saw that there is a slot availble (free) to accomodate a SSD PCIe x4 Gen3. My questions are, please:
1) is it possible to add a third hard drive? I mean is the BIOS able to recognise it automatically?
2) If another SSD can be added is there a limit in size for the new SSD? 1TB? 2TB? 4TB?
Thanks in advance
andrea

Yes, you can add 1 more M.2 NVMe SSD to your machine to run as a 3rd drive or for RAID. Due to physical size (2280 single sided) you can use 2TB (I know some vendors have 4TB but I would stick at 2TB). I can't see why BIOS won't accept it after proper installation.
Regards.
