Hi @Viktor12_,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?

Meanwhile you can try these steps:

Check if the system is using the correct graphics processor
Some systems default to integrated graphics instead of the dedicated GPU, which causes very low FPS.
Open Graphics Settings or the NVIDIA/AMD control panel and make sure the game is set to use the high-performance GPU.

Monitor CPU and GPU temperatures
Excessive heat can force the system to throttle performance to protect itself.
Use a monitoring tool and check temperatures while gaming; consistently high values indicate a cooling issue.

Clean the air vents and ensure proper airflow
Dust buildup can block airflow and cause overheating.
Power off the system and gently clean vents; also make sure the laptop or PC is not placed on soft surfaces.

Check power mode and performance settings
Low power or battery-saving modes can severely limit performance.
Set Windows Power Mode to “Best performance” and keep the system plugged in while gaming.

Update graphics drivers and Windows
Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause stuttering and low FPS.
Install the latest graphics drivers from the GPU manufacturer and ensure Windows is fully updated.

Close background applications
Heavy background tasks can consume CPU, GPU, and RAM resources.
Use Task Manager to close unnecessary apps before launching the game.

Verify in-game graphics settings
High settings or incorrect resolution can overwhelm the system.
Lower graphics quality, disable unnecessary effects, and ensure the resolution matches your display.

I hope this helps.
