Hi folks, my first post here. Recently purchased this OMEN 30L gaming desktop. I was more or less shocked to find that a computer this expensive has integrated audio? I really thought it would have a sound card, Does anyone know if a sound card can be installed and if so , which one. Thank you for any help.

You are very welcome, @underpaid! Thank you for the additional information.
It is not necessarily strange that motherboard manufacturers aren't using sound cards today. The Integrated sound has come a long way. I am a musician and I am using the integrated sound on my MSI motherboard. It works great!
According to the specifications there are the following Expansion Slots on the motherboard: 3 M.2; 1 PCIe x16; 1 PCIe x4. I believe that you could install a sound card in the PCIe x4 slot. You should choose a sound card manufacturer and contact their Tech Support for help with choosing the best card for your system. This will save you a lot of time and frustration.

@underpaid , welcome to the Community.\
What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant.
