HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2000i
with a phone I turn on the wifi router and do some tests and everything is fine then as soon as I connect the PC to that internet it goes to 500+ ping and very few mbps then I disconnect the PC from that internet and it's fine again. so I know that the problem is the PC... then looking at the data consumption I see that the system is consuming gigabytes, I don't know why I tried to reset the wifi, restarted the PC, uninstalled the network card, restarted the wifi router but it doesn't work.
and also I tried to do USB thethering as well but at the beginning it goes to 40 ping on discord in call and on a game then after 5 minutes not even and it goes to 400 ping fixed

Hi @davide9799,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

Experiencing high ping as soon as you connect your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2000i to the internet can be frustrating. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

Check Your Internet Connection:

  • Ensure that your internet connection is stable and that you are not experiencing any issues with your ISP.

Restart Your Router and Modem:

  • Sometimes, simply restarting your router and modem can help resolve connectivity issues.

Update Network Drivers:

  • Make sure that your network drivers are up to date. You can do this through the Device Manager in Windows.

Check for Background Downloads or Updates:

  • Check if any other devices on your network are downloading large files or if there are any background updates occurring on your PC.

Disable Background Applications:

  • Temporarily disable any applications running in the background that may be consuming bandwidth.

Reset Network Settings:

  • Resetting your network settings can sometimes resolve connectivity issues. You can do this by going to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network reset.

Check for Malware:

  • Run a full system scan for malware using your antivirus software to rule out any malicious software causing network issues.

If none of the above steps work, consider contacting your ISP to see if there are any known issues in your area or if they can help troubleshoot the problem.

If the issue persists, it may be helpful to test your internet connection on another device to see if the problem is isolated to your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-2000i or if it is a broader network issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
