Hey guys I'm just trying to figure out why the hp assistant would stop deleting temp and prefetch files during the performance optimization scan. It just hits with two red X's and after say (a1) (b1) could not be completed. Any info is helpful.. all other scans yield no errors. Thanks in advance...

Everybody has their own take on stuff like this.

 

I would not worry about this unless you are running out of disk space. Prefetch can improve system performance.

 

I use Windows Storage Sense in Settings, System, Storage to automatically get rid of junk. You can get rid of large data chunks when you have old Windows Update files lurking about.
