Product: OMEN by HP 45L Gaming Desktop PC IDS Base Models (ArticunoI)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I have had this machine for a few years. A couple of months ago, when watching streams, the audio started to lag behind the video. The lag keeps growing as long as the sound is on.
This happens in different browsers (Opera GX, Firefox), and in different sites (Twitch, YouTube). It always occurs in live streams.
Resetting the stream syncs the audio and video, but it is not long before the lags starts again. If the audio is stopped, e.g., clicking on the audio icon in a tab, the lag does not grow but, when the audio is reenabled, the lag begins to grow again.
I have tried disabling hardware acceleration and other suggested 'solutions', but nothing has helped.
