Below is the link to the parts list for your PC:

HP PartSurfer

It comes with a HP 'Baker' motherboard which has a SSID of 8767

HP Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, Baker | HP® Support

The latest BIOS update I could find for that system board SSID is F.54.

Greetings,

There are, unfortunately, zero driver updates available from HP for the TG01-1370nd.

Did you get a faulty BIOS update from: Windows Update or HP Support Assistant?

@Paul_Tikkanen can, sometimes, find a recent BIOS update in this situation.

You might be able to create a bootable USB BIOS recovery drive if Paul can find a recent BIOS update. Otherwise you might need a local PC tech to flash the BIOS outside of the operating system.

You can also try removing the CR2032 MB battery when the PC is disconnected from AC power?

Let the PC sit for about five minutes.

Reinstall the battery. Connect the PC to AC power.

Then check for a good POST again.

Regards

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the quick feedback, it was a faulty upgrade proposed by the HP Support Assistant.

I already tried the two options you proposed, but I was not successful.

I'm now relying on Paul input.

Best regards,

Thanks a lot Paul,

Sounds good, I will flash the BIOS you proposed later today and keep you posted.

You're very welcome.

Here's the procedure to flash the BIOS outside of Windows:

Updating the BIOS on HP Consumer Desktops outside of Windows 11| HP Computers| HP Support - YouTube

Here is how to use the BIOS recovery flash drive after it has been successfully created:

After you create the USB BIOS recovery drive, follow the instructions that show up after the USB recovery drive has been successfully created.

1. Power off the device to be recovered.

2. Insert the USB flash drive into a USB port.

3. Power on the device.

4. The device may reboot up to 3 times with indicator lights on the keyboard flashing, or the screen appearing blank for short time.

Best Regards,

Paul
