Hello!
So I'm currently trying to change a setting in my BIOS to try and fix something else that's going on in my computer.
The thing I'm trying to change is to set GPU slot to pcie gen 3
I have no idea how to do this since the Omen Setup Utility that is my BIOS menu doesn't help me much.
Hoping some of you have an idea of how to do this since no guide online has helped me so far.

I looked at the BIOS simulator for the 25 and 35 omen and did not see any setting for Gen speed. I was unable to find any 40 or 45 BIOS simulator so I cannot help with the 45L.
I suspect the setting is hard coded to "AUTO"
You can use gpu-z to find what gen speed your graphic board has and what speed it is actually running at. Note that the speed can change depending on the need of the application. Both the CPU and the PCIe link speed. My RTX-2070 shows gen3 card and also gen3 speed and in a 16x slot and using the full 16. Some CPUs cannot provide enough PCIe lanes to allow the full x16 to be used. Your Omen should not have that problem.
let me know if this helps

What is it you want to change?
What does gpu-z show?
What exactly is the problem? Maybe there is a different solution other than BIOS

Nothing you gotta worry about. If I'm not able to change the GPU slot to pcie gen 3 then there isn't much I can do.
This isn't an issue with the PC itself, more so that it possibly fixed something for something I have for my PC.

You have either the HANA or the HANAOC motherboard
both are AMD and have PCIe specs:
Expansion slots
(1) PCI Express 4.0 x16 lanes
(1) PCI Express 3.0 x1 lanes
GPU-z should show the GPU slot as Gen 4.0 x 16
It should run at 4,3 2 or even 1 depending on the GPU card.
It may be made by MSI or ASUS but to HP spec and a BIOS from the OEM would not work. D.ell also uses MSI.
