The HP assistant said BIOS updates were available, I did it and after the restart my PC is broken, the lights turn on on my case and mouse but not the keyboard, the monitor says no signal, and the lights that do come on are the default not the ones I programmed

Hi @clayton7

You have received a faulty HP BIOS update. It sounds like your PC has no video and USB I/O is broken.

Please check this Link and read all responses for possible fixes.

I had an exact same problem and i send it for service and i just got it back and the cpu was replaced and everything is working again. That seems to be very common problem now

Hi @Perttu97

HP probably replaced the MB or reprogrammed the BIOS.

A faulty BIOS update should not damage the CPU. Maybe HP replaced the MB and the CPU.
