Hello I was reaching out because I have noticed a few Boot errors. My PC has not been able to boot up without being plugged in and when it starts for a brief moment while logging in it says it has no Battery. I've done
a few tests and noticed a few things. One of my first observations was when powering it up today it had said before start "CMOS Checksum Invalid" I had went into my BIOS Myself and did something along the line of Load Default settings. On top of that I have attempted to update my system drivers and battery drivers to no avail. If you could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings @Hadam121
Is your Laptop in warranty?
Yes, a CMOS checksum error could indicate the Laptop battery needs replacing.
Your Laptop may need constant Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery current to retain CMOS settings. Some Laptops don't have CR2032 MB batteries.
CMOS data retention relies on the Li-ion battery if the device does not use a CR2032 MB battery.
Now, it is also possible your Laptop's MB: needs to be replaced by HP (in warranty status) or thoroughly evaluated by a PC Tech.
- Contact HP if the PC is in warranty and replacing the battery does not fix the CMOS data retention problem.
- Or find a local PC Tech specializing in MB: SMD/PCB circuit troubleshooting.
