Herzlichen Dank Kirsten

@Kirsteng,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

The HP Pavilion Desktop - 560-p063ng PC (Z3H30EA) as per: https://support.hp.com/th-en/document/c05330950 has been fitted with a 180-watt power supply, which limits your options.

This desktop is actually very upgradeable, as it has an Odense2-S motherboard (SSID: 828A) which is 24-pin ATX power enabled, meaning that you could upgrade the power supply with any ATX industry standard power supply, as long as you watch the replacement ATX power supply's dimensions (LxWxH) to make sure it fits inside the desktop case -but that may be something to consider/look into down the road.

The very best graphics card that I would recommend and that would be immediately compatible for your son's desktop with its current power supply, would be the EVGA GeForce GT 1030 SC 2GB GDDR5, as indicated here: https://gpurepublic.com/best-gpu-for-180w-power-supply/.  This card's max power draw is only 30 watt, perfect for PCs with small power supplies.

Here is a purchase option for this graphics card through Amazon-Germany: EVGA GeForce GT 1030 SC 2GB GDDR5, multicoloured: Amazon.de: Computer & Accessories.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
