Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have a Omen 45L new when I turned it on it requested a bios update which has been over one hour it turns off and on for about one second and then nothing.

the light white square is pulsing on and off and that it.

Should it take this long to update the bios on a brand new 5k pc or is it just  a 5k piece of junk?

Sorry to hear this.

 

Automated HP or Windows BIOS updates, have heard Windows Update is now doing this, can cause problems.

 

Best to update the BIOS manually at your PC's Driver download site.

 

Try all recovery steps at this HP site https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04126730 

 

Return the PC to the retailer if you are in the return/exchange period. Or contact HP Support for factory service at this site

HP can:

 

Replace the BIOS chip

Reprogram the BIOS chip

Replace the motherboard
