Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The only recent download i had was the autoCAD application, i got fed up with it and tried to uninstall it. My laptop screen just turned black out of the blue with the cursor only displayed and it has been like that for hours. I tried opening the task manager (which opened) but i couldnt find the runonce wrapper option (this seemed like the solution to all the black screens after doing some research). I tried to press end task with every application running yet nothing is working. I cant even turn my laptop off, nothing is displayed.

Can you tell us which computer you have? Is there a model or product number on a sticker somewhere on the back?

 

You should be able to hold the power button down for an extended amount of time until the computer shuts off.

Just hold it down until the unit shuts off.

 

If you restart, does the black screen go away and it works normal again?
