My HP Z2 Mini G9 Workstation with NVIDIA RTX 2000 graphics card boots to a black screen until the operating system loads. I've checked with several monitors. Pressing the Esc key causes the system to beep once.
The same thing happened recently with others NVIDIA graphics cards and DisplayPort 1.3 / 1.4.
I put the link here:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-uefi-update-x64/
I have tried this firmware update, but it does not apply to my card.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
HP tech support wants to replace my motherboard, but the problem is with the graphics card, in my opinion.

Greetings @Ant94
Welcome to the HP Forum.
I've never had the problem you are seeing.
This startup condition would cause some consternation when trying to get to the BIOS.
The CPU options available for your PC all seem to have Intel graphics. I'm guessing no problems using Intel CPU graphics with integrated MB: DP out or HDMI out.
I agree with you, it's doesn't seem to be a MB problem.
How do things go when trying the Nvidia card using HDMI?
Is the Nvidia card new? Have you tried the Nvidia card in a different PC?

Thank you very much, Bill_To, for your suggestions. They have been invaluable.
That's right; this board has integrated Intel graphics into the MB.
I mistakenly connected the video output to the Intel graphics. The manual with this machine significantly lacks detail (only a “generic” plug-and-play).
By default, the BIOS is autoconfigured for the external video board (if it's present), so when the system boots, the video signal is sent to the NVIDIA graphics board.
When I connected the DP cable to the NVIDIA board output, everything worked correctly, and I could view and access the BIOS.
Thank you very much Bill_To for your help
