Hello.  I have a question about the CPU cooling fan.  My computer doesn't seem to throttle, and I don't really have any heat issues, however, it is a little too loud for my liking.  Is there an easy fan swap that I can do (i7 8700 nonK)?  I don't want to swap the entire cooler, just a quieter fan that attaches to it.  It is the only that looks like it is installed incorrectly, the one at an angle.

I just know that it might be hard to find one that fits/works with the fan control software on the MB (not sure what that software even is).

So basically, can I swap out the CPU fan to a quieter one easily, and if so, which fan?  Thanks in advance.

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Fan is a non customer replaceable part and doing so will void the warranty

If you are facing issues with noisy fan, please follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01007591 and let me know how it goes

Thank you
