Hi all, my CPU is running quite hot at idle. HWMonitor records it at around 62 degrees C (min 57, max 84).
I've ordered some thermal paste to try and reseat the cooler + replace the existing paste -- but does anyone have any experience/knowledge of what the issue could be otherwise?
Device is a OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a

I have a B550 MB and a 5900x. I am using a 240 mm NZXT Kraken AIO Liquid Cooler.
My PC runs slightly cooler (not by much) than your temps at idle.
I have stress tested the PC using Prime95, and other software.
My CPU temps get into the high 70s and low 80s when stress testing. But the PC is stable, no: crashes, freezing, or thermal shutdowns. Zero thermal or power throttling
CPU temps in the 70s or above at idle and the 90s or higher when stress testing would be a problem.
You may be worrying about nothing. However, 84 C at idle is not good.
