Hi:

That would be impossible.

You would be limited to installing the supported processors for your PC's motherboard which are listed at the link below:

HP Desktop PCs - motherboard specifications, EdorasDF | HP® Support

  • TDP: up to 65 W
  • Socket type: LGA1151
  • Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
    Processor
    TDP
    Intel Core i7-9700F 3 GHz Base frequency, 4.7 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, 12 MB cache, Octa core (Coffee Lake-R)
    65 W
    Intel Core i7-9700 3 GHz Base frequency, 4.7 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, 12 MB cache, Octa core (Coffee Lake-R)
    65 W
    Intel Core i5-9400F 2.9 GHz Base frequency, 4.1 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology, 9 MB cache, Hexa core (Coffee Lake-R)

@Paul_Tikkanen,

The OP should at least be informed that the EdorasDF motherboard is not just compatible with processors "up to 65 W", but can also be upgraded with all 8th and 9th gen Intel Core 95-watt processors, specifically all the "K" and "KF" processors, such as the i7-8700K, i7-8086K, i7-9700K/F, i9-9900K/F, and yes, even the mighty 127-watt TDP i9-9900KS -though this bad boy deserves/requires a CPU heatsink upgrade.

Kind Regards,
