Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ok so I checked the compatibility with Windows 11 on my PC, and despite meeting every requirement except for "a COMPATIBLE 64 bit processor", and I am a hair away from being on the list. I want to make my PC that I got just recently work with Windows 11. Will it work with the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 from 2400g? I don't care about how noticeable the performance is, because what matters to me is that I can use Windows 11. Ignore the category because it is the closest thing I found, but it is kind of far.

Hi:

IMHO, it is too early to be overly concerned about the processor requirements to run W11.

Micro$oft is getting a lot of pushback regarding the rather stringent processor requirements, and may back off them a bit, as this article seems to indicate.

Microsoft May Drop Windows 11 CPU Requirements to Intel 6th Gen Skylake Processors | Hardware Times

You would have to provide the product number of your PC for me to see what processors it can support.

Use this guide to find that information...please do not post the serial number.

You can run this free utility that I zipped up and attached below that will check your PC against the current W11 requirements.

When you run the program you may get a message that it is not safe.  Select the More Info link and click on Run Anyway.

The app is perfectly safe.

Here is a screenshot of the report from my HP Thin Client t630...
