My laptop is an hp pavillion 15-ec0101AX and i would like to know if my laptop supports an 4th gen m.2 nvme ssd? This is the SSD I'd like to purchase

Hi:
Your notebook's M.2 slot is only PCIe Gen 3.
While a Gen 4 SSD will work, it will only run at a max speed of 3,500 MBPS.
Specs on your notebook's processor and PCIe Generation: Under the Connectivity specification.
