Hello, I’m trying to help a friend. My friend has a hp omen 45l gaming desktop. He removed his OS from his system. He is not able to instal an os anymore because there are no drivers available to install the OS on. I’ve triend helping him but i can find a solution. He has en 12th gen processor. I’ve found on google that he need to add vmd drivers. I cant find anything regarding this that support 12th gen hp omen devices. On the intel website the download is not available.
The pc is brand new and he is not been able to use it niw because off this problem.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the storage controller file on the Intel website for the 11th - 13th gen core processors that I zipped up and attached below:
I don't know which folder the driver you need is actually located in (probably the VMD one), but hopefully, one of the drivers in the three folders will work.
