I have a HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2460 Bundle PC (328R8AA) that keeps freezing up shortly after starting. When I boot from the hard drive, when I boot from Windows 11 USB media. Using a SATA drive instead of the M.2.
The only time it doesn't seem to freeze up is when in the HP diagnostics. I've updated the BIOS and ran the system diagnostics for the two hours. Everything passed.

Hi @Little_J
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Contact HP Support if your PC is in warranty.
Not seeing the PC freeze when running HP Diagnostics outside of the operating system might point to an operating system problem. Can't say for sure.
Freezing usually happens if you have a hardware: system drive problem or a memory problem and the operating system is not okay due to corruption caused by the system drive or memory problems.
A failing power supply, or other power delivery problems, could also cause this symptom.
Have you tried backing up data (if possible). It sounds like you may not have enough time to back up data.
Then do a clean W11 install or use HP Cloud Recovery. Same symptoms after a clean Windows install or a HP Cloud Recovery would point to a hardware problem.
I am not sure what "Using a SATA drive instead of the M.2" means. Please elaborate.
It is difficult to pinpoint a freezing problem in a Forum.
