Hp Omen 35L Gaming Desktop

No error messages, just a black screen after boot up, with a loading cursor. Have tried to full factory reset, would not let me. Tried soft reset, would not let me. Have only had this computer a few days, have a handfull of games downloaded and my drivers are updated. Have no clue what caused this or how to fix it, nothing I have tried has worked.

Greetings @RabidRabitt

I think a brand new PC: which is crashing, and you can't do a factory reset, and you cannot sign in to Windows has a hardware problem.

Is the loading curser a spinning circle? This would be a hardware problem or Windows is corrupted. A brand new PC should not experience Windows corruption.

See if you can check your PC's hardware using HP Diagnostics as follows:

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.

Select "F2". Run extensive system and component tests to confirm: a drive problem, a memory problem, or other component problem.

A faulty power supply may not be detected by HP Diagnostics.

I would do an exchange/refund as soon as possible if your PC has a hardware problem.

Regards
