Microsoft Windows 11
Is it possible to control the LED on the RTX4090 on my Omen 45L?
There is not an option in the Light Studio of the more basic Lighting section to do that.
No zone to assign either. I can control all other LEDs just fine.

Thanks!

Alternately, if we just knew the original manufacturer (I doubt it is HP) - we could investigate with them.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding RTX 4090 LEDs!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If the graphics card's LED control is not showing up as an option within the OMEN Light Studio's interface, it is likely that the software either does not support the particular LED configuration of the RTX 4090 or that additional software from the graphics card manufacturer is required.

Here are some steps you can take to potentially resolve the issue:

  1. Update OMEN Software:

    • Ensure that your OMEN Gaming Hub and all associated SDKs are up to date. You can update the OMEN Gaming Hub from the Microsoft Store or through the HP Support website.
  2. Graphics Card Manufacturer's Software:

    • Download and install the graphics card manufacturer's software (such as NVIDIA's software or the specific OEM's software like MSI Afterburner or ASUS Aura Sync, if applicable). These applications often provide detailed control over the LED configurations on the graphics card.
  3. Check for Firmware Updates:

    • Sometimes new firmware versions for your device might be required to enhance compatibility. Check for any BIOS or firmware updates from HP official support page for your system.
  4. Manual Configuration:

    • If the above steps don’t resolve the issue, manually configure the LED lighting using the graphics card's software. Most modern GPUs come with their own software suites that support LED customization.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
