According to the processor upgrade specs, the best processor you can install would be the AMD Ryzen 7 4700G.

Do you know what could be reason i can only upgrade to 4000 series. What would happen if i put on ryzen 5000 series

Probably the BIOS doesn't have the microcode for the Ryzen 5xxx series processors.

What would happen if you installed a Ryzen 5xxx processor in your PC?

Nothing, as in nothing will happen, and you will have to reinstall the processor you removed.

You're right—if the BIOS doesn't have the necessary microcode for the Ryzen 5xxx series, the system likely won't boot or recognize the processor, and you'd need to reinstall the previous CPU. Before installing a Ryzen 5xxx processor, it's crucial to ensure that your BIOS is updated to support it. If you're building a new system, consider using a compatible H12SSL motherboard as it might offer better support and features for the Ryzen 5xxx series, ensuring a smoother setup process.
