My Victus 15L crashes currently multiple times a day so I was looking for possible defects or upgrade of the graphic card.
One thing that I noticed was that the current graphic card AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT requires a powersupply of 500 W and the standard configuration has a 400 W type installed.
Could the apparent lack of power be a reason for a blue screen?

Greetings @Face2Face-32
Welcome to the HP Forum.
I will try to assist; troubleshooting PC instability in a Forum is difficult, at best.
It seems your PC is crashing to a blue screen. Please provide any blue screen error codes displayed. The error codes may help to diagnose your PC's problem.
What is the PC doing when it blue screens?
A faulty or overwhelmed power supply could cause this issue. Blue screen errors can be caused by hardware, hardware drivers, and, in some cases, corrupt operating system files.
Please describe all troubleshooting steps you have taken to resolve the problem.
The RX 6600 XT can run on a 450 watt power supply. Check this Site for RX 6600 XT specs.
The 6600 XT can draw up to 160 watts. So only an additional 85 watts is being pushed down the eight pin PCIe power supply connector to the card.
And HP would generally not install an under powered PSU.
Maybe we can figure out what is happening if you provide more information.
Regards

Bill_to, thanks for your efforts.
The blue screen appears in a non readable version so no error-codes visible:
I agree the the powerconsumption of card is less than the supply (The AMD shows a consumption of 80-100 W during a rendering).
I have re-winded the driver but similar issue.
Hopefully the Blue screen will show us in a direction where to look for (even without any codes)

Greetings @Face2Face-32
My pleasure.
What are you doing with the PC when you get this bluescreen error? Is this a wake from sleep problem?
I would have no idea what's causing the problem using a garbled bluescreen error.
It is almost impossible to determine if your PC has: an OS problem, a driver problem, or a hardware problem without access to the bluescreen error code.
Check your PC's hardware using HP Diagnostics as follows:
Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.
Select "F2". Run extensive system and component tests to confirm: a drive problem, a memory problem, or other component problem.
Check System Files:
Open an Admin command prompt as follows:
Open Search then enter "command prompt". Right-click on the search result.
Select "Run as Administrator".
Enter the following commands, one at a time. Wait for each command to complete before running the next command.
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth note: the PC must be connected to the network when using the DISM command.
Enter the next command to verify system files are okay.
sfc /scannow
Restart the PC. Do a sfc /scannow again to check system files.
I don't know and can't guarantee replacing the power supply will fix your PC's problem.
Maybe the PC does need a better power supply or your power supply may have a problem. You can get a 500 watt HP power supply, part number L05757-800, at eBay.
Shop for the best price. Make sure the eBay seller does returns. Check the seller's ratings before you purchase.
