Greetings @cryptedmods

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Resizable BAR and above 4G decoding are usually found in the Advanced>PCI Subsystem settings on retail MBs such as Asus or Gigabyte.

HP may have set both settings to default "on" and have hidden these BIOS settings if you can't find them.

Most folks in this Forum want to enable this option when it is disabled. I have seen many older HP MBs having these settings hidden, or not available, and set to disabled.

Why do you want to disable these settings if they are enabled?

Greetings @cryptedmods

Did you download and run GPU-Z to verify Resizable Bar is enabled?

As previously stated, Your MB may not have the option to enable or disable Resizable Bar if you cannot find it.

So it would not be possible to enable/disable Resizable Bar if it is disabled/enabled by default.

Resizable Bar should enhance GPU performance in games which support Resizable Bar.

I have never seen any gamer feedback in this Forum indicating Resizable Bar degrades gaming performance.

EDIT: I don't game but I do build gaming systems.

Are you using the latest: Nvidia or AMD graphics drivers? Recent Nvidia drivers and AMD drivers have been degrading game performance. The latest drivers are supposed to fix this.

Do you have a lot of running processes and startup items when checking Task Manager? These items can negatively impact GPU performance.

Are you using Windows: Game Capture and Game Bar? Again, more processes running which will affect gaming performance
