Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2420no PC (46Z60EA)

Hello! I have a HP PAVILION GAMING DESKTOP TG01-2025NO with Erica6 motherboard. The device currently use a Ryzen 5 5600G CPU, can I upgrade the CPU to a Ryzen 9 5900X? Is the Erica6 motherboard compatible for that?

Your PC's specs are Here.

 

The 5600G is a 65 watt TDP CPU. The 5900X is a 105 watt TDP CPU.

 

It is not possible, at this time, to examine MB specifications. Click on the Motherboard Specifications link at the first (HP) site to see what I mean.

 

The chances are very high your MB can't do a 5900X.
