Whenever my pc is turned off with the power cable plugged in, there is a really soft continuous clicking noise that comes from the psu.
i can only hear it when i place my ears close to it and it stops when i unplug the power cable.
Is there a way to solve this issue or should i replace the psu? If so where could i get one which works with the proprietary motherboard?
I’ve only had this pc for 3 weeks and i started noticing the noises about a week ago, so i’m not sure if it was happening even before then

Hi @Tizio123
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Opinions or troubleshooting suggestions in this response are provided independently. I am not employed by: HP, Inc. or the HP Forum.
I can't locate your PC's specs at any USA HP Support site. This sometimes happens.
You would have to check the current HP power supply specs (wattage and product number) to see what you have if you want to try a HP replacement power supply for your MB and case.
The HP power supply should not make clicking noises when the PC is off and the PC is connected to AC power.
I would contact HP Support if your PC is in warranty. Or you might be in the refund/exchange period if you purchased this new PC three weeks ago.
