Hi @Jaskaran07,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that you are encountering a 90B error on your HP computer, it indicates a problem with the cooling fan, which might not be operating correctly. Here's how you can troubleshoot and resolve this error

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the computer.
  • Disconnect the power adapter from the computer.
  • Remove the battery if it's a removable type.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the battery and the power adapter.
  • Turn on the computer and check if the error persists.

Check and Remove Obstructions:

  • Turn off the computer and inspect the vents for any dust or debris.
  • Use a can of compressed air to blow through the vents and remove any dust buildup that might obstruct airflow.

Update the BIOS:

  • Sometimes, updating the BIOS can help resolve fan errors as it may carry fan-related updates.
  • Visit the HP Support website and search for your computer model to find and download the latest BIOS update.

Test the Fan:

  • Use the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Tool to test the fan for functionality:
  • Restart the computer and repeatedly press the F2 key to enter the System Diagnostics.
  • Select "Component Tests" and then "Fan."
  • Run the test to see if the fan operates correctly.

Verify Thermal Conditions:

  • Check if there is adequate airflow and that no objects are blocking the computer's vents.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!
