The HP Community is where owners of HP products, like you, volunteer to help each other find solutions.

To highlight the amount of disappointed customers that have requested this feature & have potentially avoided HP products in the future, I've included a small list of community forum posts.

I'm sure that over the years more people have gone through the effort of creating a HP community profile to request customizable fan curves, but I hope the examples above can help to highlight the importance of such a feature.
As I mentioned before, if HP wants to compete in the gamer/pc-enthusiast market, HP should realize that on 1800$+ systems these features are expected.

Honestly this support rep’s response is representative of HP’s incompetence. Didn’t even bother to read the Original post which has the model clearly stated. I have no hope HP will add a basic feature like CPU fan curves. It’s clear they release half-baked ‘gaming’ PCs infested with malware.

For those who are stuck with 25L and 30L like me, the only real solution to these problems is a new motherboard altogether.

Couple notes to HP:

- add CPU fan curves

- stop using tape on the cooler bracket…

- fix the motherboards modern sleep feature preventing users from even sleeping their PCs

I understand your frustration and wholeheartedly agree that a non-HP motherboard would solve my issue.
I just hope that HP/Omen can improve before it is too late.
If HP wants to target the gaming/enthusiast market, they are going about it the wrong way.
I literally just came across another thread where a clueless parent was trying to buy a gaming laptop/desktop for their son, all I saw were people discouraging the purchase of Dell or HP.

And lets not forget the idiotic memory situation, where changes to the stock memory are only possible if non-hp memory is added? This is a first... what the ^*&&((

havent had time to dive into it, but if there is software that could do it, this is it

Unfortunately FanControl is only able to control/see the GPU fans IIRC.
