Disable your firewalls

After over 14 hours (lol, not exaggerating) uninstalling Windows 11 and downgrading to 10, other things started messing up. I ran some cmd checks/troubleshooter and I have a hardware problem, most likely RAM. I appreciate your time, thank you!

Hi @valliry,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with launching Fortnite on your OMEN 30L Desktop GT13. The LS-0013 error code in Fortnite usually indicates a problem with the game's installation or an issue with the Epic Games Launcher. While I can't provide specific troubleshooting steps for this particular error code, I can offer some general suggestions that may help resolve the issue.
- Verify the game files: Open the Epic Games Launcher, go to your library, and click on the gear icon next to Fortnite. From there, select "Verify" to check for any missing or corrupted game files. This process may take some time, but it can often fix issues related to the game's installation.
- Update your graphics drivers: Ensure that you have the latest graphics drivers installed for your GPU. Visit the manufacturer's website (NVIDIA or AMD) to download and install the most recent drivers for your specific graphics card model.
- Check for software conflicts: Sometimes, third-party software can interfere with the game's launch. Temporarily disable or uninstall any antivirus, firewall, or other security software that might be running on your system. Be sure to re-enable them afterward or replace them with alternative software.
- Run the game as an administrator: Right-click on the Fortnite shortcut or launcher icon, and select "Run as administrator." This action grants the game elevated permissions, which can help bypass certain compatibility or access issues.
- Restart your computer: Restarting your system can often resolve temporary issues or conflicts that may be preventing Fortnite from launching.
- Reinstall Fortnite: If none of the above steps work, you may want to consider uninstalling and reinstalling Fortnite. Ensure that you completely remove all related files and folders before reinstalling the game.
- If you've already tried all these steps and are still encountering the LS-0013 error code, I recommend reaching out to Epic Games Support directly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
