OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0024
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So a new game came out recently and I've not been able to get it to run for more than around 10 or so minutes before it crashes.  This is rather unusual given that I've been able to play numerous, more intensive games, on my PC for hours on end without any kind of crashing or dips in performance whatsoever. To be fair, rumor has it that the PC version of this particular game is just poorly optimized and that something might be causing an error for my particular computer or whatever, but I just can't figure out what I need to do to make it work when my friends with less "beefy" pcs can play the same game with little to issue. Nothing else particularly unusual happens and as far as I can tell, nobody else on the internet seems to be having this specific problem that has only ever occurred with one other game in the past. I've tried pretty much everything that I've seen suggested on the internet, from verifying the integrity of the game's files to updating my drivers to making sure that the settings in my Nvidia control panel were in the right place to no avail. If anybody happens to know anything that could help fix this issue, I'd be extremely grateful.

@Roop0,

Excellent question. Having a NVIDIA GPU myself (Asus RTX 3080 12GB-OC Edition), I have been recently experimenting with different graphics optimization software options, starting with MSI Afterburner, to ASUS's "GPU Tweak III" - link: GPU TWEAK III (asus.com).  Now, I don't know if Asus' NVIDIA TWEAK software will work with your HP edition RTX 2060, but if it does, it produces better optimization/OC results than MSI Afterburner -at least for me.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

hi @Roop0  @NonSequitur777

sorry @NonSequitur777

but ..

you say you have a problem with this particular game, not with others?
What is this game?
it crashes, that is to say?
Your friends have "less powerful" computers and it works?
What example of configuration then?
If we know what it's about, it's easier to understand
Rather than proposing a multitude of modifications, which would ultimately be useless
There may actually be design problems, such as the game Cyberpunk 2077, known for countless bugs when it was released!

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X

HyperX XMP RGB 8 GB

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (6 GB)

256 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 Solid State

is it this ?

the game is installed on the ssd, enough space?
