Welcome to the HP Forum.
Since no one has replied to your post I will try to assist.
Your PC specs (at this Site) show you have a dual slot RX 5500 and a 500 watt power supply. The RX 5500 (at this Site) requires one 8 pin PCIe power supply connection. Check this connection to the graphics card to verify you have this.
Also check the power supply for any additional, unused, PCIe 6 +2 PCIe connectors to power a graphics card.
Graphics card upgrade options are dependent upon the power supply and the space in the case along the PCIe x16 slot. Your case can probably handle a dual slot card up to about 10 inches in length. Check the length along the x16 slot in your case.
Your PC has a standard ATX power supply so you can upgrade this part if you want a higher powered graphics card and this card fits in the HP case.
So any graphics card that fits in the case using the correct power supply will work.
