Hi guys ! So i have an hp pavilion 690-0004ns and my graphics card fans are not working and i cant find the name of them could you guys please help me heres the gpu model 918162-001

Hi @da45,

 

The factory graphics card is an Nvidia GTX 1050.

 

The fans only spin when graphics card temps hit a specific limit. Is this happening when you are stressing the graphics card?

 

The fans will not spin if you are watching a video or surfing the Net.

hi , i took it to a repair center and they told me that the fan is not working and they need to change it and they said that if i want them to change it i need to wait 2 months because they need to order the fan from china and i said no and now i have to find the name so i order it by myself and change it by myself so if you could give me the name of the fan it would mean a lot to me

Sorry, I can't help.

 

I have no idea what the fan part number is. Other similar sized fans having the required connections may work. Many components use proprietary stuff. Don't know what you have.

 

Probably a Foxconn graphics card.
