I need to reinstall the Recovery Image onto a hard drive on my PC. When I run the software downloaded from HP Cloud Recovery the installation fails. I tried running it like 10 times and it failed every time. I tried download the software 2 times to be sure it was not a faulty download and it still failed.
I was looking for a way to contact HP directly because it seams like the download is faulty on their end, but I can not find a way to email support.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06693646
It CAME with Windows 10 Home 64 and you UPGRADED to Windows 11 therefore using HP Cloud Recovery (which will go back to Windows 10) may cause few problems depending how long.
If you wish to use Windows 11, you can re-install Windows 11 and keep all your data/files/programs. You can download Windows 11 from
https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download
to create recovery media or ISO file, you then mount ISO file to install. All you need is to remember to keep all user files/data/programs.
Regards.

The hard drive has been completely reformatted. There for all the data / files / programs have already been removed. I want to install the Recovery Image and then after Windows 10 is installed do an upgrade back to Windows 11. (I plan on purchasing a new SSD in the coming weeks as well. The PC came with a 250 GB SSD which is extremely too small I want to upgrade to 1 TB or 2 TB. And would want the Recovery Image installed on there.)
I have already went ahead and installed Windows 11 for now, being it was my only option. But would like HP to fix the Cloud Recovery Image so that it works to install on a new SSD.

It seems to me that you're worried that you won't be able to install Windows 11 straight unto the new SSD.
If I am not mistaken you'll be able to install the Win 11 (home?) iso straight onto the new SSD, then login to your microsoft account & it'll activate (since Microsoft links your licenses to your accounts nowadays).
There is however another option of preserving your current Windows 11 configuration, you can create a Recovery Image yourself using built-in Windows features in your current installation (Recovery Drive).
Then you can install that instead of the 'clean' Windows install iso, it should contain your system settings/license.
Edit: there seem to be multiple ways of going about it, but this one seems to be the one that uses built-in windows features.

Did you not see my prior response to the previous message?
For one, as stated in my reply, I have already installed windows 11 on the system.
Also as already mentioned, I want the recovery image so I have the HP software and all that is preloaded on the system. (I don't know what all software it came with so need the Recovery to reinstall it all ... After I reformed the drive / and on a new SSD I'm getting in a few months)
So there for not having the software and stuff that I need from HP the windows recovery won't help me.

Edit: Here is a link to your product page that contains links to all the documents/drivers/software you'll ever need.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-gaming-desktop-pc-tg01-0000a/37874510/m...
Edit 2: You seem to have two options; Note that you won't be able to recover personal data using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool (if I am not mistaken).
- either installing Win 10 Home to the new SSD using the Cloud Recovery Tool (this doesn't recover any personal data). Then upgrade to Win 11.
- installing a non-HP Win 11 iso, since you have non-HP Win 11, then installing the software/drivers from the above link.
Sorry if my earlier post didn't help as much as I thought. It should allow you to make an installable copy of your current OS, so you can install/clone that to the new drive. I think this will automatically contain all the HP software/drivers you have installed currently, if not you could reinstall through the aforementioned link.
I presume the HP software can only provide you with Win 10 Home, as that is the OS that was shipped with your PC.
I don't see why it wouldn't be able to install that to the new drive, but I imagine you'd want to stick with Win 11 as you currently use that.
I'm not too well versed in the HP tools, but there are plenty of other ways to get the software that came with it. However most people online refer to it as bloatware that unnecessarily slows down your system, I personally only installed the Support Assistant & the Omen Gaming Hub.
If I was in your situation I'd install the iso from Microsoft itself and the above mentioned drivers & software from HP.
But I understand your frustration that the HP tool didn't just work straight out the gate, this method above is a bit more fiddly but should allow you to have Win 11 with the HP software you want.
(I think the reason HP can't just give you a Win 11 iso with HP software is that they didn't sell you that one/they don't have a license to give you/can't access your license?, but I'm just guessing as I'm just another HP user)

hi
sorry if again this does not suit you, I may not have understood everything...
I answer, because I saw that there are two interventions, that you always have the same problem, and that no answer since your last message here
so, i understand you tried the software on the original ssd, the original ssd has already been formatted, is that correct?
You say it fails, but what exactly is going on, you get an error message?
If there is a problem with the cloud recovery, available for your model, we cannot fix it here
of memory, it's not the first time, and in general the only option found / given, was the use of the microsoft windows10 media, so no hp software actually
If the original SSD had been in good condition, I would have offered to make a disk image, so obviously no longer possible!
the original hp recovery options are no longer possible, if you have installed windows 11 (hp recovery partition)
You should be able to retrieve some software from the product page, but some may be missing, so if you don't know which ones, it's hard to help you find them.
For now, therefore, let me know if you have any particular error message, or other indication about this installation problem.
you have tried the software several times, but another usb key, perhaps?
secure boot disabled?
