Hello, My HP omen 30L GT13-1114 RGB lights have all stopped working at the same time. Not a single light works. I've checked all the wiring and everything is still attached... How do i fix this?

Hi @mattjae,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the RGB lights on your HP Omen 30L GT13-1114 have stopped working and you've verified that all wiring is intact, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you:

**1. Check Power and Connections

  • Power Supply: Ensure that your PC is properly connected to a power source and that all power cables are securely attached. Sometimes loose connections can affect RGB functionality.
  • Cable Connections: Double-check that all RGB cables are firmly connected to both the RGB controller and the motherboard. Make sure no cables are loose or disconnected.

**2. Verify RGB Settings

  • HP OMEN Command Center:
    1. Open OMEN Command Center: Launch the OMEN Command Center application on your computer.
    2. Check RGB Settings: Navigate to the RGB settings section to ensure that the lights are enabled and configured correctly.
    3. Reset to Default: If settings seem correct, try resetting the RGB settings to default or creating a new lighting profile.

**3. Update Drivers and Software

  • OMEN Command Center: Ensure that you have the latest version of the OMEN Command Center. Check for updates within the application or download the latest version from the HP website.
  • Graphics Drivers: Sometimes RGB issues can be related to graphics drivers. Update your graphics card drivers from the manufacturer’s website (NVIDIA or AMD) or through Windows Update.

**4. Check BIOS/UEFI Settings

  • Enter BIOS/UEFI:
    1. Restart your PC and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing F2, Delete, or Esc during startup).
    2. Check if there are any settings related to RGB lighting or onboard LED control. Ensure these settings are enabled.

**5. Perform a System Reset

  • Reset BIOS/UEFI: Try resetting your BIOS/UEFI to default settings. This can be done within the BIOS/UEFI settings menu.
  • Reset OMEN Command Center: Uninstall and then reinstall the OMEN Command Center. This can sometimes resolve software conflicts or corruption.

**6. Check for Firmware Updates

  • Update Firmware: Check for any firmware updates for your PC or RGB controller. Firmware updates can fix bugs or improve functionality.

**7. Inspect the RGB Controller

  • RGB Controller Check: If your system uses a separate RGB controller, inspect it for any signs of damage or malfunction. Try disconnecting and reconnecting it, or testing it with another set of RGB components if possible.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
