Like the subject suggest my 45L atx case doesn’t seem to have a psu mounting bracket.

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

I am not sure what you mean when you are referring to a PSU mounting bracket.

 

Check this, 45L removing and replacing parts, HP video. Look at time stamp 51:55 showing how to remove and replace a power supply.

 

A standard ATX power supply connects directly to the rear of the 45L chassis.

 

The additional MB to power supply brace (hidden behind the right access panel) shown in the HP video, in my opinion, is unnecessary. The power supply is secured to the chassis using four screws at the back of the case.

 

No other case manufacturer I have used has this additional power supply to chassis brace.
