HP OMEN 880-020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I currently have the HP OMEN 880-020 with a 500w PSU and a RX 580 GPU. I have purchased a RTX 2070 to upgrade my PC's GPU and I realized I need a better PSU so I have gone ahead and ordered one from Amazon. I just need help to figure out if the GPU and PSU are compatible with my current set up. I have already upgraded the Ryzen 5 1400 to a Ryzen 7 1700 and upgraded the RAM to 16GB.

This is the PSU I have ordered https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B079H6111J/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_mCdODbWN69B3G

And this is the GPU https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07L95C876/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_rDdODbZRVEFKV

The PSU is a viable upgrade. Good choice but make sure that you measure the available space before ordering it.

I suggest measuring the available PSU space as well. The new GPU will take up two slots worth of real estate

Buying the GPU direct from EVGA  would seem to be much more cost effective.

Dimensions of the EVGA card are at the EVGA website below this line. Compare  them to the RX580 card.

Dimensions of the PSU are

150mm x 86mm x 160mm
