OMEN by HP 45L Gaming Desktop PC GT22-2000i (83N29AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I bought a HP OMEN last month. When I start it, I have some flashes on the screen, about every 10 seconds. It stop after 5 minutes. Some times this doesn't happen at all, but most of the time I have this problem.

Could someone tell me the signification of theses flashes and what I need to do to stop that ?

For information, the screen is an ASUS XG49V.

Thank you in advance.

Raphael

This is a video of my screen, you could see the flashes at 4 and 16 seconds.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. The second problem is solved with a BIOS resintall.

Then I have started the computer and stay in the BIOS for about 10 minutes, no flickering.
restart and go to windows : flickering again for 3 or 5 minutes.

Any idea ? 🙂

Kind regards,

Hi,

I did a Recovery as mentionned. After reinstall only the software, without any other connection etc, the flickering is... here again.

No flickering during reinstall.

On the other hand I noticed that when I plug a USB socket (an external HD for example) I have one or 2 flickering .

Kind regards
