Hello to ALL HP BIOS engineers, this problem needs to be fixed as it's extremely simple, yet, it remains unsolved.
I'm talking about the 12V 4 pin GRB (RGB) headers on the Hana 89EB (P#575P7AA, S#2MO3043GC6) motherboard. Zone 1 is 5V 5 pin, Zone 2-4 is 12V 4 pin BUT, i can only control Zone 1 & 4! Zone 2 & 3 remain on default high power white, meaning all pins are at full power so whatever plugs to that header, it glows white.
I have the NEWEST version of Omen Gaming Hub, BIOS version F.34 and i only have 2 zones to play with. Why?
How hard can it be to ENABLE Zone 2 and 3 in BIOS so OGH can show them as active when the 12V 90mm OMEN exhaust fan is connected..?
I've upgraded to Noctua CPU fan and used the CPU fan as exhaust because it has LEDs in it an the basic one doesn't.
I have the fan connected to Zone 2 as Zone 4 has a aRGB converter connected to it for my 120mm case fans. I had to remove the BLACK and WHITE wire out of the plug to have the fan glow RED! Why do i have to go this route when there is a easier, more permanent way to do this!!!
So get together HP techs and make an update to this issue so millions out there could enjoy their old Omen systems!
