OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop PC GT15-0000a (4Q9S4AV)

Just got my pre built Omen 25L, when I go to turn it on the power symbol just flashes white and it doesn't respond to anything at all. no display on monitor, no longer responds to power button, no fans start, the pc quite litterally doesn't even make a single sound either. I've been looking up how to fix this but everyone else has been able to at least use it before this problem occured for them. I haven't been able to do anything except turn the pc on. I'm clueless and don't know what to do, this is my first pc so I pretty much know nothing any help would be appreciated.

From what I've read this seems to be an issue with sleep mode but how do I turn off or fix sleep mode when I can't even access anything on my pcs system?

Hello @Zech1

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

If you have never worked with computers before, call a friend who is good with computers to help you.

Step (1)

- Install only 1 RAM in slot 1 (check copper contacts and ram slot for dirt/dust)

- disconnect all drives

- Check all cable connections to mainboard

- Reinstall graphics card

- Start the computer, can you enter BIOS ?

- Check CPU and fan

Step (2)

- Repeat (1) with 1 RAM in slot 2

If it fails, the RAM or the slot is defective

Step (3)

- Repeat (1) with 2 RAM in both slots

If it fails, the RAM or the slot is defective

Step (4)

-  Start to connect drives...

Step (5)

- Power off your computer

- Disconnect power cable

- Press and hold <power> button for 30 seconds

Connect power cable

- Power on computer
