Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

My apologies if this is a bit of a redundant question. I've never owned a gaming PC (or HP omen) I just had  a question in regards upgrading my RAM.

I bought a HP omen seven months ago and have been loving it! My PC came with 2x8gig sticks of dual channel Hyper X ram. It's fine for now but I'm looking to upgrade to 32gigs if possible. I may have misunderstood some of the information regarding the omen, but I heard that these systems may use preparatory ram bought from HP directly in order to upgrade. Otherwise it may not utilize the RAM to it's fullest, I'm aware it's generally based of my mother board - but I don't want to make a mistake and purchase the wrong one.

I was just curious if anyone could help recommend the best ram based on my PC specifications, and perhaps the online store I may purchase it? The hyper X is totally fine  if that's the only option.

Thank you again for taking the time to help with this! (Below are my PC specifications)

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz, 2904 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)

OS Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
