Product: OMEN 30L Desktop - GT13-0024

Hi, I've had my Omen 30L for almost 5 years. It's my first gaming PC. It still works great but I'm looking to upgrade. It has the 2060 6gb and a Ryzen 7 3700x. I just upgraded the ram from 16gb to 32gb. Basically, what GPU upgrade would work in 2025? It's the Moria3 motherboard I have the specs saved for that but I'm having a hard time figuring out what my limitations are with this hardware? Could I put in a 4060 or 5070/5060(when they come out)? That's what I would like to do. The power supply is a Bronze 500W so I would change that also.

 

I just don't know what would work with this motherboard and case basically? I may just buy a 35L or 40L when the 50 series come out etc.

 

But I would like to just work with what I already have... you know like new GPU, upgrade the Air Cooler, etc.

The HP: 35L PC and the 45L PC have very good chassis cooling and component upgrade potential.

 

Sorry to say the 30L case has limited chassis cooling and CPU cooling upgrade options. And the 30L PC has limited graphics card upgrade options.

 

The 30L PC would be limited to about a dual fan, dual slot GPU at about 10 inches in length.

 

And your 30L 500 watt power supply, which is upgradable, would limit graphics card upgrade options.

I appreciate the straight-forward response, thank you!

 

That's kind of what I was gathering.. Probably best to just get a new system when the time is right. My plan with the air cooler was to get a Noctua U9S. Cheap,good, and I read from a 30L owner on Reddit it fits perfect. My system runs great still, especially after doubling the ram, but I just could use better cooling and a new graphics card basically..

The Noctua cooler will fit and can improve CPU temps.

 

Check this video for some graphics card upgrades options that should work with the 30L case and the 500 watt PSU.

 

Look in the "more" link below the video for links to purchase options.
