I’ve got an HP omen, 40L gaming desktop GT 21. Had some windows updates end during the install figured out my drive is completely completely full. After trying to install the updates, the updates failed, and my windows 11 image became corrupt. Long story short, I wanted to put a fresh copy of windows on. After trying to use a new Windows 11 boot media, the computer is stuck in a boot loop.
It won’t boot into any Drive, USB, Sata or M.2. I have even gone to length of installing a fresh windows 11 image on a different computer and then plugging it in to a sata cable on the computer, and it will not even boot to that. Every occasion the computer will get to the omen logo, and the first scroll wheel of the windows icon will come on, and then the computer will restart.
please help!

@Bajafixer , welcome to the Community.
Did you wipe the drive completely before attempting the new install? If so, I suggest trying it again.
If you want to run Win 11 from another drive you will have to tap F9 to boot into the boot menu. Then, you can choose the appropriate drive as the boot drive.

I can see the drive in the BIOS, I wiped the drive with Linux. I can boot to the USB install media, but as soon as the first loading wheel comes up the board restarts. Almost as if someone clicks the reboot button (there's not one)

Thank you for the additional information, @Bajafixer!
You should use the Win 11 install disk. It should ask you to format the drive before installing Win 11. I am not certain that wiping the drive using Linux will be satisfactory. Windows and Linux don't always play nice together.

Okay, you did mention that fact, @Bajafixer!
Let's start with the basics and reset the BIOS/UEFI to its default settings. Here is a guide to walk you through it. I am not certain what you might have done to change them, but resetting it to defaults will solve that problem.

I have already reset the bios with the jumper as described. I’ve even gone to the length of updating the bios via the HP website, by making a bootable USB flash drive. That all succeeded the update went through no problem, the CMOS was reset. But the problem still exists

Thank you for the additional information, @Bajafixer!
I have to admit I have come to the end of my suggestions. I can't think of anything else that will help you. It may be time to take the computer to a local computer shop to see what they can do.
