OMEN by HP 40L Gaming Desktop GT21-0xxx
Microsoft Windows 11

I have the HP omen 40L with the 5800X Ryzen 7.

Many new games require Secure boot and TPM 2.0.  I have ensure that my BIOS is up to date last update was august of 25.

Yet when I launch the games I am told that BIOS is not up to date and apparently this is linked to an issue with the TPM 2.0 due to the AMD manufacture version that I have on my PC  apparently AMD sent a hotfix out to motherboard manufactures but not all of them posted the fix.  Since my mainboard is an HP 8949 minus the normal BIOS update tool I do not know how to find the patch to remedy this.

Any help is appreciated

Greetings @MrSimms02

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Many folks in this Forum having AMD PCs are experiencing the same problem.

HP would have to roll out a future BIOS update for your MB to fix the TPM manufacturing version problem.

You should periodically check your PC's driver download site for a future BIOS update which fixes this problem. Or you can wait for a future BIOS update from HPSA.
