I was looking to add 3 more front fans to my HP Omen 40L ... I have a seller that stated HP Omen 30L front fans will work with my Omen 40L but I'm not sure as the led pin connector on the Omen 30L is a five pin but my MOBO only has 4 pins. Will this actually work with full light and fan functionality? If not what fans would be plug and play for a reasonable price, and or does HP sell extra HP Omen 40L front fans? Any help is much appreciated.

Follow up, I was told by another person to use a 4 Pin Standard PWM Fan to 3 x 5 Pin Thermaltake RGB Fan Cable Splitter just for the 5 pin leds and plug into my 4 pin MOBO and all three front fans will light up. Has anyone tried this as I am still unsure about just plugging a 5pin into the 4pin MOBO header. This seems like the safer option but would like opinions before I order the splitter.
