Hi Fatty
Have not seen you in a while.
I don't have an 880-160se but everyone in the forum having similar Omen PC's indicate there are no BIOS overclocking options.
HP may be using some version of (Omen command Center) Intel's XTU.
Have you checked the BIOS for any OC options?
Good talking to you.:smileywink:

Yeah its been a while. Good to see you still around as well buddy. I really like the new Omen and very interested in it. But, if HP is still not allowing overclocking from Bios directly. Its a deal breaker for me. This is why I was very curious if they finally allowed it since they have the Omen Command Center now that allows overclocking.
Also how limited is the Command Center regarding overclocking? Does it seem to work well for users?

Hi Fatty
I can't give you definitive answers but I can provide some information.
The Omen Command Center shows you can adjust processor speed and voltage. It also uses Intel's (XMP) profiles to overclock compatible memory. But memory specs for the Z370 chipset HP is using on the MB max at DDR4-2400. Other Z370 MB's can OC memory up to DDR4-4133 or more.
The 880-160se has the same motherboard (Tampa2) that is used in the Omen 880-p100 series systems.
Finally, OCC includes Network Prioritization and RGB lighting customization.
I have not been able to find any BIOS details.

It pleased me enough to see the actual overclocking utility HP is using. So I went with the following custom order. $2,514.99 I thought it was a solid deal all things considering. I cant do a custom build myself for that price. Especially with no gpu's available right now.

Hi Fatty
Nice system specs.
You should be able to do some heavy gaming and VR with this system.
Run Superposition benchmark at extreme setting and post the results.
Here is my SP benchmark. No overclocking. Running an Nvidia 1080.
