Hello,
Yesterday, I purchased an HP Omen 25L desktop pc (specifically this model: https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/hp-omen-25l-gaming-pc-intel-core-i7-11700f-512gb-ssd-16gb-ram-r...) and I’ve run into some issues with it.
I was redownloading skyrim onto this pc, so i went downstairs and left it idle to let it download. When I came back, the pc was off and it won’t turn back on. It’s currently acting very similar to a cold car engine, as everything seemingly works fine for about a second. All the fans, lights, etc start going for a second then immediately stop. I’m currently leaving it unplugged for a while, as well as draining any static or energy that could’ve been in it by holding the power button multiple times while unplugged. Is this an issue anyone else has had, and if so, are there any immediate fixes i can make?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
You have some type of hardware problem if the PC shuts down and is not entering sleep.
It is tough to say what is happening from your problem description but possible causes can be the power supply or a motherboard issue. Or hardware connected to the MB is causing the fault.
Bad power supply or a hardware fault is causing the power supply to shut down to protect the electronics.
Other possibilities are a loose MB connection somewhere or reseat components and then test.
I would return the PC to Best Buy.
