Hey guys and gals, I am thinking about picking up a used HP Pavilion 15 gaming laptop for cheap off ebay, but I want to invest in a couple upgrades to drastically improve the unit's performance. The parts I would install would be two 16gb RAM sticks (for total of 32gb), and a  1TB SATA SSD. Based off the manual, I know that the computer can handle 32GB of RAM, and the SSD I'm looking at is 2.5". However, I wanted to get some input on whether or not the parts I have selected will work. Here are the links to the parts:

Thanks!

@Jackle378,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

That would be a resounding "Yes" and a "Yes" for your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0xxx, according to: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06377664.pdf.  Only thing is that your RAM will likely down throttle to 2666 MHz.

Kind Regards,
