Hello I got my first Gaming Desktop and I have wanted to upgrade the storage capacity.
As the storage capacity is 256 GB PCle NVMe M.2 Solid State Driver. And here are my questions.
1. Does this desktop have one more slot for a PCle NVMe M..2 Solid State Driver? and If so could I get a link to buy one? Specifically a 2TB one.
2. What HDD is compatible for the Desktop? Could I also get a link to that? Could I also get the links for the Necessary Cables I would need to connect the HDD to the motherboard? and Power supply?
Thank you

Hi,
I can answer the first question. You only have one M.2 socket for storage. So you could upgrade the 256 GB drive to a larger drive. You would have to create a backup image of the existing operating system on external media and restore the image to the new SSD.
I cannot answer the second question because I cannot find an image of your MB to see if this MB has open SATA ports.
Maybe someone else has access to an image of the MB or specs which can resolve this issue.
Any SATA HDD or SATA SSD should be compatible if you can mount the drive in the chassis, you have open SATA ports on the MB, and you have SATA power from the power supply.
HP also uses proprietary power supplies. Your power supply may not support additional SATA connectors.
